Privacy policy

What this website collects, why, and what happens to it.

Last updated:this policy describes the behaviour of this website as deployed. If the company’s practices change, this page is updated before the change takes effect.

What we collect

We collect only what you submit through the property assessment form. That is:

  • Your name, company or organisation, work email and (optionally) phone number
  • Your role, if you provide it
  • Property name, address and type, and the number of properties, if you provide them
  • The capabilities you select and anything you write in the free-text fields
  • Any files you choose to attach
  • Your preferred contact method, desired start and how you heard about us
  • Basic attribution: the page you submitted from, a campaign parameter if one was present in the URL, and the referring page

We do not use tracking cookies, advertising pixels, session recording or cross-site trackers.

Anti-spam measures

The form includes a hidden field that human visitors never see, and it records when the form was opened so that submissions completed impossibly quickly can be identified as automated. Neither is used to profile you, and neither is retained beyond the submission.

Your IP address is used transiently to rate-limit submissions from a single connection. It is held in memory only, for the duration of the rate-limit window, and is not written to a database or included in the lead record.

How we use it

To respond to your enquiry, to prepare an assessment, and to keep a record of the request. We do not sell your information, we do not share it with advertisers, and we do not add you to a marketing list on the basis of an assessment request.

Where it goes

Submissions are sent by email to our internal notification address, and a confirmation is sent to you. Where a customer relationship system is configured, the lead record is also forwarded to it. Attached files travel with the internal notification email; they are not published, not stored on a public path, and are never served back from this website.

This site is hosted on Vercel, which processes requests on our behalf and keeps standard server logs. If privacy-conscious analytics are enabled, they collect aggregate page-view data without cookies and without identifying individuals.

Retention

Assessment requests are retained while the enquiry is active and for a reasonable period afterwards for business-record purposes. Requests that do not proceed are deleted once they are no longer commercially relevant. Attachments are retained only as long as they are needed to scope the work.

Your choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Contact us using the details below or by replying to any email we have sent you, and we will action the request.

Children

This is a business-to-business website. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Contact

Direct contact details are published as they are confirmed. In the meantime, reply to any email we have sent you, or use the assessment request form and note your request in the message field.

Independence

Civic Grounds Group is an independent company. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any developer, government body, municipality or economic-development organisation.
